Default Pewter Denim Street Glide Black or Chrome Uppers and Lowers?

I am getting ready to buy a Pewter Denim Street Glide and debating whether I should get the black powder coated upper and lowers front end with black engine guard or the chrome ones with stock engine guard? Any thoughts, suggestions?

Maybe pictures will help me out?! I have seen a few here on the forums with the black front ends, but the black exhausts are throwing me off a bit. I plan have stock exhaust with slip-ons. Anyone have a Pewter Denim Street Glide with black uppers and lowers but with a chrome exhaust?

Thanks!

If I were to do it all over again Pewter Denim would be my color and I would be blacking out things. I think the black with that color looks very sharp.

+1 or +2 on the black out treatment. Looks really good on that color. JMO. Chrome seems to blend in with the color.

Attached is a great looking local bike that has really nice add ons. But I think it is lost on the too much chrome.

I have actually been contemplating having my painter go pewter denim on my ride. I love the blackout theme on that color. Boberino has one of the classiest looking bikes on this forum in that theme imo...
