Default Good Jeans

Hey All,

I assume a good number of you wear jeans when riding - I do, as I can wear jeans to work at my job.

Anyhow, just thought I would let everyone know that I really like the Lee Dungaree Carpenter jeans when riding. I have several pairs that I have owned for over 2 years, and not one has developed any noticeable wear.

What I really like about them is the extra side pocket on the right leg. I store my Blackberry in it and it fits perfectly. The front pockets are a little wider and deeper than most jeans so I can move my wallet from my a$$ pocket to one up front. They are good looking jeans too (not tight fitting) and come in several shades.

If you haven't tried them, they get two thumbs up from me. I know there are tons of other options, but for the price, fit, comfort and functionality, these are the bomb in my opinion.

They can be a little difficult to find, but if you have a Kohl's dept store in your area, they usually have them there.

Happy riding!

Brad

Didn't care for carpenter jeans myself. I'm partial to Wranglers regular jeans. They are cheap, tough, and blow away others like Levis and the Harley jeans for duability.

I like wearing Kevlar jeans. I have a couple pair of HD ones I got for 50% off and a pair of Draggin Jeans.

The warden got me a pair of Carhartt flannel lined jeans for Christmas. They are great for cold weather riding and comfortable as heck.

Pretty sure you'll find that Lee and HD jeans are the same with additional stitching on the back pockets of the HD. I generally wear Lee or Wranglers.

Levi's is now owned by the Chinese. I have not bought jeans for a while becuase the old Levi's held up. Are Lee and Wrangler made in USA. And if not, what is?

I wear Gusset Jeans, mostly Carpenter style when riding, but I have a number of pairs of both regular and carpenter.

Most comfortable jeans I've found for riding due to the diamond gusset instead of the traditional gusset.

You can try these:

http://www.gussetclothing.com/

and they are made in the good ole' USA. I like the relaxed style, haven't tried the riding pants yet.
