It's sad that there is such a low regard for life. Don't like Cats? OK then don't own one and by the sounds of this I hope some of you aren't parents either... I myself have more respect for all creatures that God placed on this earth. An accident is an accident but for every creature you harm intentionally, you will pay a price at some time. Good luck!

it's good that you're ok. at least it was a cat and not a snake...those things get mad and chase you (you'll know what I'm talking about if you read my earlier post about it)

I hate hitting anything but you can't make a situation worse trying to avoid and cause a bigger issue.

I did not intentionally hit the cat, but I'm not going to dump the bike for a cat either. I just checked and the lower left faring has a crack in it. Less that 500mi on the bike and this. Dang.

Cats!, Sure, I like cats, doesn't bother me at all that my ignorant neighbours let their cats run free and wild, they come over and spray my bike and use the seat as a clawing post, love them.....NOT

Sorry to hear about the damage.

You should, however, be VERY thankful that you didn't go down. I am a LEO and we had a motorcycle accident last year where a guy was in a lean going through a turn when he ran over a mouse with his front tire. The front tire slid out, he went down, slid off the road into a tree and was killed...........by a friggin' MOUSE!!!!

Broken parts can always be fixed.

At least you just have a crack man and didn't dump the bike upon impact with the feline. And Cruise Carter, there is only one type of ***** I like being around my bike....

Lots of cat haters on here............. I love cats, especially with a little mayo and cheese.
And no, I wouldn't loose any sleep over running over a cat instead of taking a chance on going down trying to avoid it.

Love or hate them, point is it shouldn't be on a street and if it, it's your safety that is priority.
