Default 6.5" Speakers in 09 Roadglide

I got bored and it was raining so I decided to paint my inner fairing and change my handlebars. While I have it off I might as well add some speakers. Now I might as well change the factory speakers and add an amp. The speakers are 6.5" shallow mount Polk Audios and I added 10" Flanders mini apes. Where does this madness end? This is my first thread please don't flame.

I am putting the same speakers (not shallows) in my aftermarket fairing...where did you get those grills?

Every time that I look at the sides of the inner fairing on my Road Glide I see wasted space....just waiting for speakers!

What was the Polk model number of those speakers?

Let us know if your satisfied with the sound when you get it all put back together.

The grills are from some Street Edge speakers, but any low profile grill would work(my buddy owns a stereo store). I thought the Polk grills were to bling bling.
The speakers are db651s Polk Audio's
Should be up and running by this weekend.

Default Amplifier the Hard Way

I decided since I was already this deep into it , I should mount an amp. Here goes nothing!
