Yet another windshield thread. Who has ridden both a SG w/the 4" stock sheild and a RG w/say a 8" sport sheild?

During most of the summer months the SG shield was fine for me unless I was going on a good stretch of highway or riding 2 up. 8" recurve is what I'm thiking for my everyday cruising and then a larger shield for 2 up. Who's ridden both?

 

I had a 2000 Road King, detachable batwing and street glide windshield. I now have a CVO windshield (7") on an 09 Road glide. Same helmet during comparison and I'd say the 7" windshield is not tall enough.....it's basically useless. As a result I'm look for an upgrade. The batwing with the streetglide windshield was acceptable on long rides (NJ to Nashville). I'm going to try the Kuryakyn, like the looks and it's almost 5" taller than what I have now. Hopefully it's a little less "useless" than the CVO 7".

That's my 2 cents. Oh yeah, the RG is 10 times better than the RK in the handling department, just need to get the windshield a little better.
