Follow the steps in the service manual and it is not that hard. Just take your time don't force anything and take pictures.

 

BOFORE I REMOVE BOTH FAIRINGS i went to the local electrical dist and bought

a numbering book marked each side of everything and it all went back together

easy and the #'s are permanent-ride safe
