Rain Gear suggestions

Another one using H-D Gore-Tex. I've gone thru several cheap suits over the years. Either I'm in a big hurry to get them on and put my boot thru the seat , or catch my heel in the leg and tear a hole in it somewhere. The other times they would leak down the neck. No problems at all with the H-D stuff and it's been thru a bunch of gully-washers. I waited to buy mine when dealer was having a sale and then applied my HOG discount.

+1 for the HD gear. I'll be the first one to say HD is overpriced about most gear, but the rain gear is excellent.
Especially this set. http://www.harley-davidson.com/mcm/m...bmLocale=en_US

I subscribe to Motorcycle Consumer News.....the Consumer Reports for the motorcycle industry. They don't accept any advertising and are beholding to nobody!
They tested (with a fire hose, under controlled conditions......so each suit was tested exactly the same) a bunch of rain suits a couple of years ago. One of the more affordable brands actually came out on top. The Tour Master Elite II 2 Piece rain suit won, hands down.
It has the Nomex (what fire suits are made of) inside of both pant legs so it doesn't melt to the exhaust. They have a mesh lining that keeps it from sticking to your leathers, shirt, etc. Easy to use flap pockets. Zipper and velcro close front. And if you do an internet search, you can find the bottom and tops for less than a bill.
