Default Iso Grip Help.........FAST!!!!

Hello gentlemen!

Just purchased my Iso grips online and I'm in the process of putting them on my bike. Well, there is no glue in the Death Grip bottle that comes with the grips. What other glue could I use?

Thanks so much!

Don't laugh, but i've heard of people using hair spray to hold them on. Can you take a run to a local dealer? Doesn't have to be Harley, any bike dealer should carry it.

Just tried hair spray. I'm going to let it dry a little. I will report back.

Thanks!

Hair spray works Just let it set overnight. I like it better than the instant glue that you cannot move after 10 seconds. The Hairspray lets you adjust the grip.

I used griplock, it's not quite as instant, but holds tight after setting up, but was easy to get off when I did my bar change. Picked up at my stealer for a little bit of nothing.

Thanks so much guys. It looks like the hair spray is going to do the trick. I put the hair dryer on it for a while and it's gripping already. I will check it in the morning if it's not stuck on I will get some grip lock.

I just put some of these on last week. I had to rip the top off the glue to get any out. Would not pour out of the little spout.

Hope you put the right one on before the left one so you can get them to line up and match.

Don't ask me why I bring this up.

golf club grip tape.......yeah I know, not everyone has a
roll of this stuff on their work bench.
WallyMart carries it (or used to).......and if it can withstand
the torque of a 'grip it and rip it' swing, it will
stay in place on your handle bars.
Have also used the hairspray and had good luck.....

Almost anything sticky/spray whatever should work. When I changed out the grips on my Dyna and now 2x on my Road King, all I had laying around was some old 3M Photo Mount Spray Adhesive used to glue mat boards together when you're framing a picture. I'll be damned if you can get the grips to move after using this stuff.

So, use what you have, improvise it'll work. You only need it on the left grip anyway.
