I had my seat on my 08 SG vanalized. Im the process of buy a 09 SG seat used. Can anyone confirm that the seats are exactly the same and will fit with no problems??

I currently have a 09 Streetglide and purchased a take off 08 Road Glide seat fits fine and no problems installing, wanted bigger seat for passenger. According to the Harley Davidson 2009 accessories catolog the 08 and 09 touring seat are interchangable, its states 08 and later touring models for the different seat options.I just looked at the catolog prior to entering this post. So go ahead and purchase the seat and enjoy your ride

 

It will fit, but I have one off an '08 for sale if you are interested.

I put an 08' sundowner on a 09' bike. Fits perfectly. Don't see why you could reverse it.
