I was talking to my dealer today about the 2010 models. He showed me the 2010 color chart he just got from HD. We were talking about blacking out different bikes and I mentioned that a lot of guys wished that the FLHX (Streetglide) came in Black Denim so they could black it out. He showed me that Black Denim is one of the new colors for the SG for 2010. Looks like there will be two custom two tones for the SG too. Can't remember them exactly. Looks like Pewter is being dropped both the denim and pearl versions. In place there's a sort of silver color.

He confirmed that the FLHR (Roadglide) was being shelved along with about 3 other models, but that HD will be announcing 5 or 6 new models. He said this is a first for HD to come out with so many new models in the same year. Couldn't tell me much more.

 

Black Denim will be a cool color, but I am still liking my Root Beer color one (that isn't home yet).

 

Black denim and chrome don't seem to go together JMHO...... blacked out with black denim matches, maybe to replace the standard

True that Mike 5959. I couldn't be happier with mine... until the Arc Audio system comes next week. Oopps... and the Clearview 9.5 to replace the Klock Werks windshield (been 4 1/2 weeks)!

...can't help thinking when I hear "5-6 NEW Models"..that it really means "5-6 VARIATIONS of existing models"...C'mon HD make a KILLER-BAGGER!...turbo'd or s-charged, or SOMETHING NASTY!!!...(I'll buy it!)...

 

I would like to know how your dealer got a 2010 color chart because I work at a Harley Dealer and I have never seen Harley release any color charts for the upcoming year before the dealer meeting in July when they release the new models. I think your dealer may be pulling your leg.

 

Dam it!!! I would have bought a black denim.

 

Last year my dealer showed me the new colors long before the dealer meeting. Maybe your dealer owner is holding back.
