Default What DOT Half Helmet Are You Wearing?

I want to start wearing a helmet when I drive my SG. I want a nice form fitting helmet not a mushroom looking thing. Just wanted to see what kind of DOT half helmets are out there for me to chose from.

I don't worry about the look as much as others, I wear a Scorpian EXO-100, check it out. It's a very good helmet.

Agree with Bullseye. My Wife and I have them. Love them. Light, not affected by the wind, fit in your bags when you park.

I totally agree with Bullseye!! I have had my Carbon Fiber for about 6 years and getting ready to order another for my bithday. I also bought one for my wife and we both love them. They fit Great look Great and when you're in the wind they stay put.

All DOT approved will give you that mushroom look. This being said, I currently have an Ed Hardy half shell. Like the graphics. It's made by KBC. Very comfortable and DOT approved.

+ 1 on the Head Trip by Advanced Carbon. After 40,000 miles of mostly helmetless riding I had a son and became a helmet wearer. My other half helmets caught the wind so bad that I could not ride without my windshield or my neck hurt within a few miles. With the HeadTrip my neck doesn't hurt at all and it is very comfortable. A few weeks ago I realized after sitting at my dest for 20 minutes that I was still wearing it after my morning commute.

With the smallest pads it was tight and I almost sent it back for a larger size but after wearing it a few times it fit perfectly.
