I tried a few out when I was looking for a half helmet, I went to a place that sold the Carbon Fiber helmets and while I was there I looked at the Fulmer helmets. I liked the light weight of them and the price and ended up going with the Fulmer because it was a 1/4 the cost and looked great.

Here's a pic my wife took on our last tip. No mushroom head there!

I rock the mushroom .... I roll with the HD hybrid rival half helmet cost allot at 200$ but it looks sick and is super lightweight.. I got my girl the hd half helmet with the girlie flames on it she like that one and it was only $150.

What did you pay for it? Is that the Ranger helmet?

I have the ACC carbon fiber(DOT) and a NEXL carbon fiber. The NEXL is bigger but not bad in the mushroom department. It is more comfortable and moves less in the wind than my ACC and it seems to provide a lot more protections. The best thing to do is try them on if you can; all heads are different.

Why do you wish they were Snell approved?

I wear this one on a daily basis. Fits very well and no "mushroom".

+1 Fits good and looks good for the price ($60), I also agree with trying it on.

Actually it's the older Hombre which I believe is the new Model 81. I think I paid some where around $50-$60.
