I have the DOT in natural and I just ordered the same thing in the novelty helmet too.
For night riding, cold WX and long trips I have a SHOEI Full Face in white.
They have superb customer support http://www.carbonfiberhelmets.com/

ACC does sell some DOT helmets along with their novelty "brain buckets".

So, for those of you that like the looks of your ACC helmet(s), do you have a DOT or non-DOT helmet from them?

I ordered an ACC dot helmet a couple of months ago. Let me start by saying the customer service was top notch and the helmet looked nice. I got the Polo style carbon fiber dot helmet, and sent it back. For one it didn't fit as good as my $60 dot helmet. I also did not think it was any more "lower profile" than any other DOT helmet I have ever tried on. Give em a try if ya want, there are obviously a lot of people on here who like their helmet, I did not. At worst it's gonna cost you return shipping, and its no big deal to return it if you don't like it. I think finding a "low profile" DOT approved helmet is like tryin to find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

I wear a cheap azz polo from the local Pakastani leather store, IIRC it was about $35. Who cares what it looks like, I can't see it while I'm riding.

I'd love to have an ACC DOT helmet, but they don't make any larger than XL. That's too small for my watermelon head. Oh well.

I have an HJC half that I like because I added a half shield to it. Pretty light, but serious mushroom. I also have a Daytona DOT half that I thought I was going to like in the store. Although it is the lightest DOT half that I tried, it does grab the wind and make serious mushroom head.

I am thinking about ordering a carbon, but have found 2 complanies that have ACC in thier site:
www.carbonfiberhelmets.com and www.carbonfiberbikerhelmets.com.
Now I am trying to see which one to order from since they both appear to have the exact same product and pricing. .....Wonder if they are the same company but advertise different due to various publications.
