Like others, I found the stock shocks air pressure is very sensitive and worth my while to make adjustments to tune it in..... (Hmmm) I may even go to the extent of doing 1 lb. increments like someone else mentioned.

I have a set of brand new Progressive 440 HD on my bike, I also did the front end, love the ride, but have a big problem getting the bike to the shop, I have 2 ramps and it wont clear the ramps, I need to get them off so I can get the bike into the shop in the backyard. these are the 11.5 drop shocks with HD springs. I will go to a air ride so I can raise the bike to get in the shop. I'll take 350 for these.

If I do the Progressive's, I was thinking of going with 12.5". Thanks.

Just about all the 04 and 05 Screamin Eagle Electra Glide owners went with the Progessive 440s. The SEEG sits lower than a stock electra glide, so we had the shorter shocks. I think it was the same for the Street Glide of those two years.

Once you get the 440s adjusted, it's no longer an issue. I'm 220 lbs. and often have a tour pack and used to have a passenger a lot (till the 09 Street Glide that she now rides) so I went with the 440 HD's (heavy duty).

At four years old, and 40k miles they started leaking but Progressive rebuilt them for free (lifetime warranty, if you keep the receipt).

I'm running 45 psi in my 09 Ultra riding 2-up and still bottom on occassion.
When I do bottomit doesn't sem to be on harsh bumps, but mild surface transitions on the freeway lanes.

They say not to go above 50 psi, has anyone run above this?

I put 12.5" Progressive 440 HDs on my 06RG. Big improvement over the stock air shocks.

Anyone know anything about the Progressive "Air Dragger"? It says they hook up to existing airline. So I wonder if you can use them without the "optional" compressor, and how are they?

This is all true almost, I have 440's on my 03 I had bought them off ebay much better than stock, easy to change the stiffness great ride 2 up. the down side is the valving seems to be 1 way sometime you will get a solid thunk when the springs rebound also yes they have a lifetime warranty (for the original buyer as long as you have a copy of the receipt) if not then you can almost buy a new set for the cost ( they don't really rebuild them they replace the shock and use your old spring) here is a copy of a ebay ad I was going to buy but I need a heaver setup http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=330283209869 mayby this set will work for you.

I have the 11.5" 440 on my king. Great improvement over stock. I am getting rid of them however. Going to air ride. Anyone interested, pm me. Take 250 plus ship.
