Hello Everyone,

We were having trouble logging back in under the L8brake name. If you sent us a PM to that address we are currently not able to retrieve it.

We are happy to hear so many of you enjoy our products. If you order from us over the phone and mention HDForums.com we will give you a 10% discount. That has been mentioned here before.

Confused, to answer your question regarding the differences in our pads.
a.All of our pads are noise and dust free. They will not gouge your rotors.
b.The Z-Plus offers about 20% more stopping power than stock pads.
c.The Gold-Plus offers about 30% more stopping power than stock pads. We recommend the Gold-Plus under heavier weight situations, hard braking conditions, and extreme weather. The Gold-Plus pads will also work with our composite rotors and still provide better stopping power than stock pads, but the Red-Plus pads provide the most stopping power on composite rotors.
d.The Red-Plus pads are designed to work with our composite rotors.

To answer the 2nd part of your question, for a 2008 Ultra you would use part #7254. We are currently back ordered on those in the Z+ compound, but we should have some in the next few weeks.

I hope that answers your questions. If anyone else has any questions you can PM me or e-mail me at mberezin@lyndallracingbrakes.com
Thank You,
Michael Berezin

So Paul,

In your first post you metioned that we didn't buy a brake pad, we bought a brake company. Isn't that a quote from Tommy Boy Callahan from Callahan Brake Pad Company in Sandusky, Ohio

Just yanking your chain!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep up the great work and thanks for all your help!!!!!!!

Now I am really confused...

I appreciate the reply on the difference of the Lyndall pads and I have been wanting to try them on our bikes...but....

There seems to be a lot of shipping problems, bad batches, etc, etc. The one definite seems to be the high quality of customer service.

I just got my Z+ pads the other day and they appear to be from a "good batch" since they have the grooves in the sides that people are saying the improved ones have. Once I get some time I'll install them and check them out.

I have the Z+ on my Springer. As you may or may not know, the front brake on the Springer is nothing to write home about, but these pads made a world of difference. Every once in awhile, there is a slight squeal, but the difference in stopping power more than compensates for it. Just my $.02.

Just put the Z-Plus pads on my 07 FLTR. Stops better and no more squeal.
I tried everything, could not get the stock pads to stop making noise. Now
I can come to a stop without everybody looking!!
