Wink Thanks Hawg08.. how about a boot guard for your SG?

I never thought of selling them though, just that it looked pretty good for what I was wanting. Honestly, after comparing the two, I think yours is just a bit oversized. As far as the 300# pull stainless steel, I wasn't planning to use it to tow anything with. Good luck with your bell hanger design, though.
If you would have picked up my bell hanger... I figure I should point out my boot guard.
I finished the rider boot guard for my SG just a couple of weeks ago. I am still working on the passenger's for the left side where the pipe goes vertical behind the primary for the foot peg. Design pretty much finished, I just have to laser it and have it chromed. I have pics on my web site with the rider guards mounted on my SG www.bitchin-guard.com click the button the left "photos of guards on bikes.. go to touring.

Thanks,
Doug

Default My solution for a place to hang the bell

I just punched a hole in one of the bolts that holds the footboard on the right side of the bike and threaded the keyring through the hole.

Most of the guys that I ride with have a bell. There's even one guy that has the Domino's Noid!

If you consider this question to be a "technical issue" that requires posting on a forum, then you shouldn't be riding a Harley. in fact, you almost better avoid riding motorcycles altogether or stick to a small Honda.

The Bell ought' to come with instructions that if you don't get it hung on your bike in less then 5 minutes, you are cursed for life.

Here's two of mine, another on the front. Can't have too many yano. Damn, I thought you could see them in this pic. Anyway, one is hanging from fender support and the other from bag support. The third from front foot board.

easiest way is the el cheapo spiral key rings. for me it works anyway. although i no longer use a bell. just another annoying noise for me.
