Default mp3 other than ipod

I have a sansa fuze and am really happy with it. My only issue is there doesnt seem to be any mounting systems on the market for them. looked at a bunch of web sites with universal mounts but im not sure if they will work.. any one have one of these and suggest a handle bar mount for it ?

thanks.

Can you measure it from side to side and top to bottom? I have a 2nd generation nano ipod mount that I never used. I don't know if it will fit, but worth a shot

The 2nd generation nano is 1.6 x 0.3 x 3.5 inches and your fuze is 3.1" x 1.9" x .3" so it won't work, but that will give you something to look for. 3rd generation is 2.1 x 0.3 x 2.8 inches and the 4th generation is 3.5 inches tall by 1.6 inches wide by 0.25 inch and 5th generation is 5.4 x 1.5 x 5.4 inches

I wasn't able to quickly find one. I have a Cowon X5 myself and have wondered how to do this. I think what I'll do is get one of those metal circle things that you normally see on a CB radio mic along with it's clip, and just superglue the thing to the back of the cowon. Then use the CB radio clip that's still on the bike, (I have a police model) as a 'holster'... might work in your situation if you don't mind having a wierd looking metallic circley thingy on the back.

Something like the first two items here:

Or this:

I have the same thing with my Creative Zen 4 gig (soon to bee an 8 gig). For the time being, I have a small handlebar mounted bag from Boss Bags, very nicely made and big enough for the Zen and the patch cords. Not the best solution, but it works for the time being.

when i am not using my Zumo 550 and i want mp3 capability, i just put my sansa in the windshield bag. I also bought some velcro strips that i can fasten around items that might not fit very snuggly to make sure i don't lose them going down the road.

Question

I guess I don't understand the need to access an mp3 player while riding. I have a Creative labs Zen that is loaded with songs that I love. Currently about 428 of them. I turn it on, random play all, plug it in, throw in the windshield bag and forget about it. If there are songs on your mp3 player you don't want to listen to, delete them. I love the mp3 player especially while traveling. No longer having to search for radio stations when one fades out. No cell phone, no radio, just tunes, the bike and the road. Just my .02

I have the best of both worlds. I have my portable Pioneer Inno in a factory cradle and it's plays either MP3's or XM Radio. I have a cradle in everything I drive and just move the radio with me. I can even wear it in a holster, and use ear buds, for when doing yard work.

The velcro strap keeps it from bouncing out of the cradle.
