Question From Dyna to Street Glide?

Good day all,
I bought my first Harley about a year and a half ago 08 Fat Bob, I love the bike and it's a blast to ride but I really like the new 09 SG.

I guess my question is how many of you have made the jump from a Dyna to a SG and do you have any regrets whatsoever??

I have seen many of you pics on here and the more I look, the more I want

Thanks all....keeper safe.

Mike

I went from Dyna Lowrider to Roadglide. Regret I didn't do it sooner.

Nothing to do whatsoever with the topic at hand, but couldn't help noticing your screen name. Sitting here drinking a beer (maybe a few beers) and wondering if your screen name has anything to do with corn coming out in your poop??

BTW, ditch the dyna and get a tourer. You won't regret it.

i moved up from a low rider to street glide.....wish i could give you an answer, but i've only got about 150 miles on the sg since it's been cold, snow, sleet, rain, etc ever since. I'm wondering if i jinxed the weather?

the 150 miles i did ride though were outstanding!

I regret selling my Dyna! I went from a Dyna to a SG because I thought I would dig the stereo and comfort and all for touring but I realized I don't do that much REAL touring. Now thinking of trading for a Softail, maybe a Deluxe? I like the idea of light touring and some cruisin' and if you look at my pics you can see what I had. It was a Dyna that had all the touring options but could be stripped down for cruisin'. Just my 2 cents.

I have both an '09 Ultra and a Fatbob. Around town and for shorter rides I prefer the fatbob. My fat bob has a 2-1 pipe on it and runs alot stronger than the Ultra. OTOH I prefer the Ultra when having a passenger due to intercom or on group rides so I can CB communicate to other riders. Really you can't go wrong with either bike but for me both bikes have a different attitude/use. The bagger for me is a great ride but sometimes I like to just get back to the basics of just a motorcycle without all the gadgets. Just kinda depends on the mood I'm in.
