Stebel Air Horn

"for the guys who separated theirs... how did you seperate them and at what part of the horn did you do that?"
It took a minute to figure out, but it just slides off. The plastic horn from the metal compressor that is. You need a little force but no tools were needed to separate the two. I didn't need a dremel.

I mounted mine under the voltage regulator on my 09 Ultra. I made a flat steel bracket that bolted to two holes in the frame there. This is the same horn that came off my 01, and now has a total of about 70k miles on it.
The only issue is if you drop off a curb, it could hit the horn. . . then the frame, etc. Don't do that.
On my Deuce, I mounted one just above the regulator.

Mike - did you get that horn yet? Did you get chrome or black? The pictures here - rivco horn - make it look like a matte black, just wondering if it is more of a gun metal, or if it has a shine. A buddy of mine seems set on ordering this rivco after seeing the modifications it handles.
