The valve is part of the header not part of the mufflers.
I replaced my HDI header with a US one so no exhaust valve and no catalyst now.
We get a double whammy here a catalyst and a exhaust valve and European mufflers.
At least California only get the catalyst in the header.

 

I thought it looked like it was part of the header... Thanks for informing us.
