Default Help need an ignition switch for 1989 FLHTC

Hey guys need some help. Anyone know where I might get an ignition switch for a 1989 FLHTC. They have been discountinued and I woul dlove to find one. Mine is slowly going on the blink. Any help will be greatly appreciated. TBT

I will punch it in and tell you any dealers in the US that may still have it in stock, then you could call them and give them a credit card and have it shipped to you.

If it is 71549-82A, then I just checked and NO dealers have it. It is also not listed as being superseded. Might be able to cross reference it in Drag. Give me a few to try that.

No cross reference for Drag either. You might have some luck with Teds V-Twin but I can't cross reference that until I'm at the shop.

If you cant find a 4 post switch the newer 3 post for 92 and newer ( I think thats the year it changed ) will work. You wont have the option for lights but the lights will still come on for you when you power up the main steering lock switch. I had a 1990 Ultra that had "issues" with the steering lock switch as well

This is the problem yes that number is right. V-twin does not have one. I have already done the search but no one has one. I'm hoping someone has one laying on a shelf somewhere.

Thats what I'm trying now but its a different animal. Something is not quite right on it.
