Question Wind vest windshield

Has anyone tried the new Windvest windshield for baggers? They claim the curl at the top gives you 4" more of effective wind protection. In other words a 6" windshield will give you the same wind deflection as a normal 10" windshield. I had a Windvest on my Low Rider and I know they make a quality product. Just wondering if the claims are true.

I have both the 4in. and 6 in. was surprised at how well they worked. I run the 6in now, and will go to 4 when it get warmer. I am very pleased with both!

What model bikes are you putting these on?? I have a Road glide and was wondering if it might be a good option? have the tall HD shield and it tends to obstruct my vision the top of the shield ends up in my line of sight.

Certainly worth considering. I was reading one of their ads today, and I was wondering if they really meet their promises. I'd like to hear from some more folks that might have them.

Default Windvest windshield

I have both the 4 and 6 inch versions in dark smoke. I just got the 6" one for the ride to Daytona. Being short I had to look through it alot but it really eliminated any head bobble at highway speed which was about 90% of the ride. Quality is first rate. Clearview is a bit cheaper but if I remember their delivery time is really terrible. I got my 4" through JP cycles but the 6" came directly from Windvest. They shipped in a couple of days and I had them in about 10 days. If the gotta have now factor is strong go Windvest. If you can wait maybe the Clearview is the answer. Either way there both the same configuration and quality.

couldn't find the thread but I thought somebody said the recurve on the windvest was more severe then the clearview causing the air to be pushed up higher with the windvest. Can anybody comment, have a 6" clearview and want to go higher.
