Can anyone beat…

Well I think I actually have those numbers Beat if you do the math.
My first ride was April 6th (1st Concord, NH Chapter ride) the last day was Dec 6th (8 months) I had 24,003. So if I had the opportunity to ride 12 months I would have gotten 36004.
Actually I put on 460 miles since last Saturday, we have our first official Chapter ride this Sun. April 5th, so that mileage will actually still be first 1st year mileage.
So I guess I actually didn't beat it, maybe I should start a different thread with a 8 month timeline.
Congrats though.

i just crossed the one year mark owning mine and logged 30,000 and some change in that first year. I am in Fl. but not retired. I work four ten hour days a week and have three days a week off. I have no children and a VERY understanding wife. My off days are spent riding as is every night after work. If I was retired I could really do some miles.

I live in Florida, I’m retired, my wife gives me a lot of leeway and I’ve been known to ride 50 miles one way to get breakfast. I started riding in 1964 (Triumph); my first HD was a 1976 AMF Sportster and I would have never believed that anyone would be able to ride a HD product this many miles with no serious problems. Indeed, it’s only been to the shop for routine service.
If I can manage to change a VA appointment I’ll be in Leesburg. Look for a short, bald guy on a white Street Glide with black true duals. I’ll be wearing a Widow’s Sons Patch and I should have another 1,200 miles on it by then.
