Default HD SUPER RIDE ?? Im doomed....

Man o man.... lead me not into temptation...LOL. I guess now dealers are gonna let you ride any new bike you want... no questions asked. I really like this 09 rootbeer roadking classic I saw at the dealership when I bought my wifes bike. between me and my wife we have bought 4 new harleys in the last 14 months. this is starting to be a habit. I think its great though the best way to sell a harley is to let someone ride it. thats how my wife got hooked. well anyway... should sell alot of bikes.

Sure is (dammit). Orlando HD sent email offering a $10 gift certificate as a little extra "incentive" too .

That's the number one way car dealers get you to buy...sit you behind the wheel...give you the keys and let you drive! Almost automatically gives you ownership! And they know if they don't hook you there...you'll probably go somewhere else and buy. Most people buy at the first dealer they go to...Nothing like the impulse buy, eh?

Yep...I agree...totally and absolutely sinister! BUT OMG...We So Love To Ride!

Last fall when I was home from Afghanistan on leave I was going to make my final decision on an Ultra Classic or a Goldwing. As you know there are always demo rides for Harley's plus the ability to rent, which I did.
But Honda wont let you test drive thier bikes and they dont have a demo ride program and there are few and far between places to rent a Gold wing from so, it wasnt hard to make up my mind.

A buddy did let me test drive his GW and the wife didnt like it as much as the UC.

So, UC it is.

There is a lot to be said by allowing a test drive.

If that's really true I gotta find a Dealer with a Tri-Glide ;-)
My Wife had surgery on her right arm and has lost some function
with it and now she has a tough time on her 07 SG when riding
at slow speeds in a parking lot. We thought of triking out her bike
but was thinking of just selling her's and get a Tri-Glide instead.

Every harley in the store when I bought my SG had a sign that said "Test Ride Me". The bike was going to sit on the floor for a week before I could get it, so I jokingly ask them to take the sign off. Or was I really joking.

And they say there is a problem with the economy.

You sound like a one man stimulus plan...

So much for poor consumer confidence....

If you like that Root Beer RKC, you better not go looking at the Root Beer Ultra.
