Default I'm Experiencing Seperation Anxiety

Took the bike to my indy shop Monday afternoon. Time for the 15000 mile service, New tires, Lyndall brake pads, Vance and Hines dresser duals w/Monster Ovals, Kuryakyn extended brake lever.....gotta get it ready for spring.

I keep walking out to the garage and staring at the empty parking spot. First time my baby has been gone overnight, I'm stressed out. Who's rubbing on her tonight, Is she okay? I dont think I worried this much the first time one of my kids spent the night away from home......I think I have a dysfunctional relationship with my bike.

I have to admit, I crept down to the shop and snuck a look at her this afternoon....does that make me a stalker?

Well at least you have 15K miles on her. I only have 7K on my 08 SG.

But I know exactly how you feel. My bike has been in the shop for 9 days now. Getting new billet wheels, new handle bars, upgraded stereo amp & speakers, bagger brace, chrome from end and a complete new custom paint set of tins.

I hope to see her Saturday but we are held up by Paul Yaffe on a couple of items.

Its only dysfunctional if you let the relationship with the bike cause problems with other areas of your life like work, wife, family, ect.. Oh crap were all screwed!!

Shipping my bike out west to do some riding over the summer. The shipper contacted me yesterday and said they would pick up my bike about 16 days before I meet up with my baby in Wyoming. 16 days....Come on! I emailed the shipper back and pleaded for less separation time, and then said no. I mean don't other people understand??

I'm the same way...Never been separated from my Harleys after Chevrolet send me a recall letter on my '02 Corvette. Dealer wanted me to leave the car overnight and I got real pissy. Done that once, Never again with my beloved toys. I want them with me under my watchful eye. Feels like I'm going through anoher divorce once it's out of my eyesight.

Sorry, Folks...Anyone want to repair my toys...It has to be the same day or you're not getting my biz.

Separation Anxiety sucks,

Thorey
