I had 13" Cyclesmith's on my 2010 FLHX and I am 5' 6" tall. When I had them pushed as far forward as possible I had to lean forward a little and if I had a backrest on my C&C seat, I probably would have not been able to sit back against it.
I liked the cyclesmith's on the street glide, but you must determine that for yourself and hopefully going to some bike events you could find someone with the same handlebars you could sit on the bike and see yourself.
I just bought an 2014 Ultra Classic in September of 2013 and I will be looking for some new handlebars that are about 10" tall and have about 2" - 3" more in pullback.
