12.5 Wild1 Chubby's here, shown while install and other upgrades going on, so not great pics, but gives you a good idea.

So far Drag Specialties has the best prices on cables that I can find. Alot of people are talking about chopperscycle.com and hillcountrycustoms.com too.

How did you get them in without taking the radio out?

No need to remove the radio. Just take out the ignition, and you can remove and replace bars. The only issue is adjustment of bars onto clamp before you put them back in. Took two tries to get it right.

Ok so you just remove the riser bolts and adjust the bars off the bike. Good idea.

Found out that it's near an $1,800 job to get 13" bars on my SG...looks like this will be a winter project.

You can do it yourself for $160! Well, thats for 14" Santee bars, +8 clutch cable, and poly bushings. I spent a little more because i ordered the longer brake hoses, but have not installed them yet.

Did you not need to extend your brake cable? I have been looking at either the 11" Santee bars or the 12.5" Wild 1's but didn't want to make the switch because I didn't want to have to replace the brake line since I have ABS and its really expensive.

Thanks!

I didn't replace mine! I just re-routed it(didn't even take the hose off to re-route it). However, i'm not sure about the width of the 12.5" Wild 1's, but i'll bet the brake hose is long enough.
