Default Anyone use the Rev Extended on PowerCommander V or III?

I recently enabled the Rev. Extended on my 08 FLHX (PCV) and my tach will only register up to about 5k and stops. Has anyone else had this issue? The bike does rev higher but It doesn't reflect in the Tach.

I use teh Rev-X-Tend and have had no issues. My combination Tach/Speedo reads well about 7K, but the rev-limiter stops it at 6200 (not that i ever let it rev that high... )

Maybe it's only the newer models or the PCV...

Anyone else?

I have the PC-V on my bike and the Rev Extend was enabled. My bike would rev up past 5K with the Rev Extend enabled. I actually turned the Rev Extend off on mine last night after talking with Jamie at Fuel Moto. For me I just don't need the bike to rev that high.

Never had any issues with the RevExtend on my PCIII - even when my motor was stock. It was great to get rid of the pop at 5750 on the stock limiter. Just because it's enabled doesn't mean you HAVE to rev it that far (6250). My 88" motor was still pulling strong at 5700-5800 and the stock limiter got in the way if I wanted to use it.
Contact Fuelmoto or DynoJet - it's probably an easy issue to correct.

I've installed PCIII on 4 scoots. Two of mine, and two for friends. Enabled rev extend on all. Only one had factory tach-'07 Dyna. It worked properly and showed higher RPM.

Mine did the same as yours on my 2008 when I had the PCIIIB on it. The tach just quit at 5K and I didn't feel good about it, so I turned it back off.

Mine does the same thing. The tach flatlines at 5200RPM but you can hear the motor obviously revving higher. Just figured it was normal.
