Default Flag on antenna

I'm thinking of putting a flag on each of my antennas for a run that I am participating in,
what is the downsize of this, I attend to keep the flags down at the bottom of the shorty
attenas that I have
Thanks for any input

Just make sure you place the American flag on the right hand (throttle) side, and the other flag on the left hand (clutch) side.

Reason? So the American flag will be higher than the other flag, when you rest the bike on the side (jiffy) stand!

Have to watch they don't wip around and come unscrewed. I was wondering about doing that too.

Here's what I did.... I took 3 zip ties, put the flag on my CB antenna, placed a zip tie outside of the flag, against the flag/antenna , zip tied the bottom of the verticle zt to the antenna, and repeated on top of the flag. keeps the flag where I want it. up high for regular riding, half staff, for when that's called for (PGR missions etc)

it's just a 3x6 flag.... but it works for me

My 2 cents....Don't do it !!! Been riding for over 20 years...I can not tell you how many broken ants I have seen or hear about because of flags. Again just me 2 cents.

Be Safe JIM

+1 for HDJIM's comment. The strain the flag puts on the antenna even if it's a small one designed for car antennae is going to deform yours and at least make it look like crap. Ask me how I know and didn't learn the first time.

Have had this one on my bike for months now. (Although I just added the Tour Pack days ago, so the antenna was in the lower - original position next to the fender) But anyway, it hardly even catches any wind where I had it. I haven't ridden with it in this new position.

ProPad makes reasonably prices antenna mount Flags:
