Guess I'll go ahead and do the 103
I didn't title this "Which cam" because most people are probably sick and tired of that question. I know I'm tired of reading about cams. Having said that, I to am undecided about which cam to use. I had the Andrews 26 in my old 2002 RKC with a 95" BB and I loved it. I have the SE 255 cam in my current SE Fat Bob and while I know it is totally different from my 08 SG (which is what I am doing) I still like this cam and it gets great reviews. I talked to the tech at Andrews to other day and he is sold, or at least trying to sell me, on the new 54h cam. I think I would be happy with any of these but I'm pulling my hair out. If this were another 95" I wouldn't hesitate to do the 26's again. But this is a 103. Is the 26 too small? Is the 54h too radical in that it comes on slightly later than I might like. Is the SE255 right in the middle? My riding style is two up most all of the time. Not a hot rodder. And I check every tank of gas for mileage . I do lots of trips and range is important to me. Even with a 6 gallon tank I want good milage and am willing to sacrifice some performance for it. I'm also thinking the 26 would not benefit from heads were the other two might. Meaning the 26 would cost less as I would not be tempted to do heads. Opinions?

I'm going to do a 103" next winter and Big Boyz recommended the 54H to me. I also found a dyno chart somewhere that showed the torque curve on a '07 Night Train with that setup. Right at 100 ft-lb at 2700 rpm, and gets to about 105 ft-lb and stays there from 3000 - 5000 rpm.
