Bought the fork baffle on Friday based on reading favorable posts. I also have the chrome fork mounted lowers and a 9.5 Clearview with recurve. The combination works very well and has reduced the "buffeting" I experienced. I had the lowers and recurve mounted for several weeks and they did reduced the buffeting. But in combination with the fork baffle, they are outstanding. I was able to ride in some fairly stiff head and cross winds and buffeting was much less than I would have experienced without the add-ons. Since the latest change was only the fork baffle, I can say that it has more effect than I would have thought from reading past posts on it. Relatively cheap too and you don't even notice it's there. Bike is an 08 EGS.

 

I have the same combo and it does help, sort of like riding in a convertable.
