Kuryakyn Girder shift linkage

Kuryakyn Girder shift linkage
A good friend of mine us gave me a Kuryakyn girder shift linkage. He had nothing but problems with it rattling and making a loud noise. He asures me he had it on right. Has anyone else had any problems with this linkage ???? Thanks in advance Be Safe JIM

I have the extended version installed on my '97 Heritage. I'm breaking in a new engine so have been upshifting and downshifting quite a bit. Only have about 200 miles on it right now but no issues so far.
