Default 300 miles w/ new pcv

installed new pcv from jamie wed. nite and rode 300 miles today. ran great and great mileage. of course, i kept cracking the throttle up to 5k thru the gears. may be just a tad rich at top throttle but ok. main reason i got it was to cool down things. thx jamie....

just got mine as well for 07 Street Glide mileage fell to about 31 and is running a bit rich as well. Wonder if Jamie can design a map a little leaner in cruise range.

The PC-V is the Power Commander 5 and it's Made by Dyno-Jet. It can be bought by from a few vendors but the most useful of those on the boards seems to be fuel-Moto. Jamie and Keith render excellent customer service.

The PC-V is basically an EFI adjustment module that integrates into your ECM and you can tune it by MAPS that are either placed in there by Fuel Moto when you call and order yours or your can download them online. you can always create a custom MAP with the software provided with the PC-V. Also if you want you can dyno your bike to tweak every little bit of power you want to with the PC-V. I do suggest you go to a reputable dyno shop to get this done.

Also there is an Auto-tune that can be bought along with the PC-V that can help you make an easier transition to riding with the PC-V!

Try an search on the forums for power commander or PC-V and you'll find plenty of info! I can't recommend it enough, I have on on My SG and I love it!

Ride Safe, Mike

I have a PC 5 on both my fat bob and Ultra and the stage one setup made my Dyna run like a raped ape. It definitely made it more fun to ride. The Ultra not so much power as the Dyna but alot of the is probably due to pipe choices and additional weight of the Ultra.
