I just got back from the dyno shop again. I had my 09 Ultra dyno tuned after i installed the Rinehard slip on mufflers and the SE Ventilator a/c last week. It made 70 hp and 79 tq. I did not like the sound of the Rinehards so i took them off and put the stock mufflers back on and had it dyno tuned again. This time it made 72.33 hp and 81.5 tq. Go figure . Less back preasure is not always good. It runs hard and smooth now so i am happy and will leave it alone.
Sounds good, leave the bike alone now that its running good. At least you know its now running at its full potential. Sell your pipes on ebay now and get some of your $$$$$$$ back.
Not a silly question at all Jerm21. Air temp, humidity, elevation engine temp, etc. all have an effect on the results of a dyno run. As does the operator.

+1 on this! different times and majorly different results...for me they were as wide as 10HP and 7lbs-tq!
Same dyno same tech. They used the SERT tuner i bought with the bike and the temp is about the same , I just think it runs better with stock exhaust over the Rineharts. I have them for sale at the Harley dealership.

Yep, in another thread there are those that are saying that this is BS, but your dyno runs just go to show that the stock pipes aren't all that bad, and that going to a true dual setup will cost you some power on a stock bike, now whether or not you can feel it is a whole different issue.
Now, it you woulda bought a 2 into 1, well, that would be a whole different story !
