I think I've seen them at walmart, they did say HD but were cheaper

So I decided to buy 91844-97 which was the $1 socket cover that comes in the HD 12v supplemental power outlet kit. I installed in on my cigarette lighter and don't have to worry about putting the element somewhere. Now I can just pop up the cover and plug in whatever it is I'm plugging in. I wish the folding tab on the cover was a little shorter as it is crunched up while closed, but it's doable. You would think the MOCO would put these $1 jobs on all the tourers and make the 5% of the people that actually probably use the lighter element purchase it as a $15 accessory!

My lighter fell out on a ride one day. It bounced off my leg, off the street, and up into the front of the trans pulley where it wedged itself in and proceeded to shred the edge of my drive belt. I didn't realize what happened until the damage was done. Cost me a new belt. Would have cost nearly $800 to fix if I had the dealer do it.
