I installed the Clutch Cable Connector Cover p/n 38636-07 on my Ultra. Installation was easy enough. The part comes in two halves and are held together with small screws. The problem that I am having is the assembled part keeps sliding away from the Transmission Cover. Does anybody have one of these installed on their bike? If so, how do you keep it in place?

I wish I had a better answer for you, but I used to have one of those covers and it was damn near impossible to install. I actually got it to stay on for a couple of thousand miles...once. And then when I had the bike in for service it was dangling when I picked up the bike, so one of their mechanics came out and worked on it for about 45 minutes and it stayed on for a few more thousand. Then it lost one of the screws and I just got rid of it. One of H-Ds more poorly designed add-ons IMHO.

Now I just polish the stock cable end with my Dremel tool some Simichrome and let it go at that.
