Question Road Glide History?

Anyone know the 1st year of the RG? Special editions? ect..ect..

I believe the original was called the "Tour Glide" but thats about all I know. Also, the Road Glide fairing changed (shape)at one time too. Interesting question, keep us posted!

Yep first yea of the RG last year of the EVO. Father was the tour glide. Side note I saw 1 at Elvis's car collection in Memphis. Intresting scoot.

My understaing is this is a "Vetter" fairing on Elvis's Bike but the twin beam headlight says factory right?

AND that does say "AMF" on the side, so that is pretty old.

That is a Vetter Liberator fairing. For those folks that wanted something uglier than a road glide

thats funny, I think he just needed 2 lights and 2spotlights up front to help him see after getting high.
