We did all the National Parks in Utah, plus the Grand Canyon in Az., and Mesa Verde in Cortez, Co. It was one of the best rides we ever took. I found a very nice motel in Loa, Utah called The Snuggle Inn. It is about 25 miles west of Capital Reef National Park.

All of the above rides are great (and predictable)- don't forget there are some very beautiful areas in northern Utah-Cache Valley, up around Park City and Kamas, the ride between Vernal and Heber City, Heber City itself, Provo Canyon (and Bridal Veil Falls) and the Uintah Mountains are just a few. Northern Utah is different than southern Utah-it is like a different State, more like the Colorado Mountains-

This is everything you need.

Logan Canyon, Bear Lake, Provo Canyon, Park City, SLC Temple grounds, Miller motosport Speedway near Tooele... Plenty to see and do. I'm going down for the AMA Races in late May.

Last year a few buddies and I took a 7 day trip to San Diego and back from Michigan. We saw some beautiful country and my favorite was Utah. Barron, but georgous!

As mentioned above - GO TO MOKI DUGWAY - it's just north of Mexican Hat. you will NOT regret it. Scariest road I've ever been on. It was dusk on the descent...incredible just the same. We also rode thru arches park - pretty neat as well!

Went through Utah two years ago, was some of the best riding I've been on. All the places mentioned are great. Zion NP, Cedar Breaks, Bryce, follow Hwy 12 across Hogs Back you can also do some river rafting in a few places. We also went to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Jacob Lake at the junction of 89 & 67 outside of the Grand Canyon is a great place to stay the night. Enjoy your trip, what ever route you choose to take will be great. Watch for cattle and deer in some areas that are marked, we came across several in the road.

Salt lake city and the great salt lake... Farther south to Bonneville maybe come in the south side and exit the north and hit yellowstone... Yellowstone was gonna be my dream ride this summer till I lost my job ... I did it a couple years ago in a cage and I have to do it on a bike...

Lightbulb Just come to Utah.

My signature picture was taken on the entrance to Zion National Park. It is all awesome, whatever you want to see. That's why I live here. If St George is in your plans, I'll buy you breakfast. Just PM me.

Traveled southeast Utah many a time, try to hit up all the places that "drfeelgood" mentioned and Moki is awsome. Going in late August is great you WILL see some rain, and almost alway on Boulder Mt. near Loa, Oh and hit up Moab, some cool bars there.
