I wouldn't worry too much about the bike wanting to track to the left or right...mine did that for the longest time and then i realized it was because i had all my "heavy" stuff in one saddlebag

My 09 is on straight, but my dealer has an 08 and an 07, both on the sales florr now, and neither one is on straight. When I pointed it out to one of the sales guys, and asked him about it, they looked at it and said in his best salesman ship line, "looks straight to me".

Thought It was just me. Everytime I would mention to someone they gave me that deer in the headlights look. I agree it (eas) nerve wracking, nut I forgot about or got use to it. It is very small , but noticeable. Now I have to get use to it all over again !

Good post..

I don't stare! Its not polite! (I have just come to accept the fact that HDs have these little problems.)

My 08 is not straight either, and like so many here I was told by the dealer it was the way I was looking at it. Ive had the fairing off to try and fix it myself, even thought of placing shims on the one side to try and straighten it out. Im open for suggestions if anyone has come up with a remedy. Tim

I never noticed mine not being straight, so it must be.

Mine was crooked. After I took off and repaired the broken braces I realigned the whole mess. Now the bike don't pull to one side when going down the highway like it use to. go figure.
