I looked at both...didn't hear anything good from anyone about the Badlander. A couple of people said the Sidekick was better, so I went after that.
I like it. My wife doesn't...she likes my Corbin touring and her wraparound backrest. Oh, and be aware that you sit considerably lower with a Sidekick...at least I do, compared with my Corbin or the stock seat...that's a Sidekick in my sig pict...

I have a badlander. I didn't like how it put right on the seat rails. it's comfortable enough for around town but not the longhawl. I am actually going to try it now that I have my bagger brace installed because I've noticed a lot less vibration at idle. That's when I found it annoying.
I went with a "reach" seat and it's perfect for me now.

I was looking at both these seats and it didn't look like much difference between them except for the passenger seat width and the price. For $100+ less I am going with the leather Badlander. I don't think either one is great for long trips, but around town I've heard they're ok. Hopefully it will be in this week. I'll post some pics once I get it installed.
