Finally got to ride with my new windscreen.Looks good on the bike and works well.Really cuts down on alot of the whole buffering issue.It was worth the wait.

 

In another week or two, maybe I can get that same feeling. I have a 10 1/2 inch Clearview with recurve ordered for my 09 Ultra. At 6' 1", I have to sit bolt upright to see over the stock shield, and no matter where I sit I get a lot of buffeting at ~60 mph or higher. I'm hoping that the recurve moves the bad air somewhere else.

Did the shield help the airflow around your head?

 

I have the same one and really like it. I prefer the looks of the FLARE but the current one they have is just too short. I get too much buffeting.

Have the 8"also,really like it.John was great to deal with.If I was any taller or in cooler weather or on a long journey I might order a little taller screen.But in warm weather 50 mile rides it is really a great screen.

 

Glad to hear the good reviews. My 8" Recurve should be here in about 2 weeks also.

 

Ordered mine a couple of weeks ago, just waiting for a ship date...

 

How does the 8" recurve compare to the 12" factory shield? I'm 6' tall and the top of the winshield is right in my line of sight - it was driving me nuts so I put on the 9" Memphis Shades I bought last year for my SG. But I'd like a little less wind noise in my helmet, so I'm thinking of trying something else.

Might the Clearview be the answer?
