Congrats. You made a great choice with the RK for your first. Too many people think they need a small bike to start with and take a beating trading within a year. Ride safe and ride often!!

Congrats! Your first bike is an RKC? That's awesome! I had to go through 10 or so japs before my first Harley. I should have just saved a bit more 25 years ago and started out on the best like you did. Ride Safe!

 

congrat's on the buy. I also have an '05 RK classic and love it!! As one of the posters said, I made the 'mistake' (kind of) where I bought a '01 Wide Glide first. great bike and actually miss it somewhat. After 2 months traded and got the '05. I didn't take a beating thankfully but still cost me a little bit.
I added a sundowner seat and HD Reduced Reach bars. Let's me sit back a bit more.
