My dealer gave me a picture of the new "FLH-EPA" which was designed with the help of EPA Engineers and available in '07:

Although I was told they're still working on the noise issue... they're pretty loud rolling across pavement.

Does that solid disk cause problems in cross winds?
I wonder if they will have a passenger pillion.

Screamin' Eagle 113" Street Glide FLHXR (six speed) was recently previewed for select top dealers. It will be the flagship for '07 with very limited numbers in Carbon Black Pearl and special edition black chrome Sidewinder wheels. This one will be tough to get!

RE: Hottest 07 Rumors
If its the same transmission as the one they put in the dynas this year it will make one heck of a difference. Bought a StreetBob for the wife. I love that bike. We all know they "revamped" that line. Although the improvements were small the outcome was huge. I've posted on here before about the tranny so I'll just recap. For lack of a better way of explaining it the tranny feels "metric". Like the dirt bikes I grew up on. It's as smooth a silk. Finding any gear is simple and positive. We're all familiar with the Harley Clunky trannys. This one feels like it came out of some high end sport bike. All the gear ratios have changed as well. As far as the 6th gear... better be going 70 before you even try to pull into that one. And when you do...man it feels too good. I for one am very impressed with this tranny. Hope it, or one like it makes it into the 07 touring line.

Great post and threads guys. Love to hear the rumors, as it makes for possibilities. The reverse would be a good option. A six speed would be good if it was a little more of an overdrive, as 300 rpm is not much of an improvement...IMO.

RE: Hottest 07 Rumors
I confirm what lp just said about the tranny on a Street Bob and other Dynas.
It is REAL smooth and apart from an initial takeoff at cold start, there is virtually no "clunk". Drop it into 6th at a little over 100km/h (60mph) and the bike gives you the impression it is just coasting along with a real sweet tune coming out of those pipes.
6 speeds on tourers? - You guys are gonna love it, I give you my word!!!!!
Reverse? Sheesh, I need it, let alone how you get an EG to back up without it.
