Default Guns, Bikes and Beer

Not a good combination on most days. The wife got a new 9mm and I got a .40 so we got some range time in today. It went well both guns shot well. Then I took a ride .....it was cold buy the time I got out so not the best but now I'm setting here enjoying the forum eating some nasty kettle popcorn and drinking a beer.. Come on spring . I hope everyone has had a great day.

Funny, 8 of us rode to a gun show 65 miles away yesterday. Bought a nice compact Beretta 9 and stopped for a beer on the way home. Just doesn't get a lot better, does it?

Well lets see, I got my 40 cal out and shot up some beer cans in a wood pile. Does that count?

Rode my Ultra for a couple hours, had another speeding biker pass me--in my lane!--suprise suprise! He just couldn't wait for a lane to pass... He had a SE road King. Oh well, no harm no foul. God, I love the way my Ultra rides and accelerates. Topped it off with E-10 ethanol fuel, 89 tane, got 39mpg. Did I say how much I like riding my Ultra??

It was a little chile today so we took the dual sport motorcycles and rode the little unlined paved, gravel, and dirt roads, seldom over 60 MPH. I didn't get to shoot today but I am enjoying a beer now. 2 out of 3 isn't bad!

Throw a train, a front porch and a dog in there and you got a good country song in the making!

I got a 200 miler in this mornin', before the wind picked up, sighted in my .22 cal starling plinker in the back yard ('cause I can) and am now enjoying some of Kentucky's finest and watchin' a movie!

Speakin' of guns - have y'all been to the Walmart ammo isle lately? I see Obama got his wish... glad I have 1500 .223 rounds for the Mini.

Nothing quite like shooting and riding.... Now that's a good day.

EDIT: (Not at the same time, hopefully)

this is quite coincidental. Today I learned I could fit a stoeger sXs coach in the saddle bag. impulse buy and had to find a way to get it home. ...new carry gun, maybe!
