I like it! The white part in the emblem goes nice with the white wall on the tires & ties everything in nicely! I'm diggin' your solo seat too! Is that the H-D Brawler seat?

I thought that was a 64-65 emblem. I personally plan to use the star emblem (61-63?) on my 09 FLHX.

did you have to repaint the tank when you pulled the old emblem off?...id love to do something like that also...just wondering about the paint damage?

Looks great, as long as you can lower the left side to match the pinstriping. way better then the stock ones.

Works for me!

I've been thinking about using the same 1963-1965 tank badge (as well as the 1965 tank paint scheme) on my '08 FLHT ever since I got it. Since my tank decals are under the clearcoat, I'm going to have to have the tank repainted anyway, so I figure I may as well do the paint too.

A great idea, well done! I also suggest lowering the rear end a little, so the twin stripes come out of the end of the design, similar to the front, not the bottom corner, if that is possible.
