Since the run is usually to be concluded in one day, the longest I was on last year was a 6 hour affair, about 120 miles. The reason for length is that the fire dept half way through the ride, cooked us all barbeque and for about 75 riders that took abit of time. Also was almost all country, curvy roads with speeds under 55 mph most of the time.
i think the poker runs out her in the Antelope Valley are about 80 or so miles. But poker runs are about shooting the **** and not really about ridding it's hard to put milage in.
We have a poker run every year to support Muscular Dystrophy, last year there were over 800 bikes. It is a 160 mile run with a lot of fun and food along the way.
I passed on a poker run this weekend, 5 stops and 60 miles; too many stops, too few miles.
