I like these, come in black as well. Anyone know the best size in terms of inches that fit a removable luggage rack?

T-bags here,6 seasons of use and still like new. Filled with tents, sleeping bags, cooking gear, booze, clothes. Also got LidHaulers on the 'Glide, good for taking a bigger tent on one side and a sleeping mat roll on the other.

I had a Harley Day Bag for my Sporty. It was waterproof and could fit a few days worth of clothes and stuff in there. It slid down the road with my sporty and only got minorly scuffed.
I'm planning on buying one of Harley's bigger bags with the day bag attatchment. It is worth the money.

I've used the SAC bags large and small for years and years. Just sent it back to them for free re-dying to black as the color had started to fade after all the years in the sun. Great product, and great customer support. Now I have the Tour Pak, but I still use the small bag, and occasionally the large when on long, long trips.

Kuryakyn Ultra Tour for me. I bought a "leather" bag on eBay. By the time I put two days on the bike on the way to Sturgis in '05, three of the plastic buckles exploded on me! Bought the Kuryakyn at the J&P shop in Sturgis...got home, got a replacement for the leather bag (under warantee) then turned around and sold THAT on eBay.

I've got around 30,000 miles on the Kuryakyn and have no complaints.

I responded to your PM. I frequent ADVrider.com more than this one...Sorry.

If you go the drybag route. Get one that opens length wise over one that opens at the end. There's no zipper on this model. You roll the top to close it up, which works just fine. They are very robust.

After a few trips..I've learned to travel allot lighter...Indian Style. You need to think like a backpacker.

Don't forget Tourmaster - great t-bag for about half the price of the competition. Had one for 9+ years with no issues. Got another for the wife's bike.
