Is that a 3/4 or 1" axle?

We converted my bro's bike, a '99...to late model 1" frontend.
We have his stock 3/4" lowers.

I'm sure he'd let 'em go for $20-30 bucks, plus shipping.

If I was to have mine chromed,I would sand,polish the mold marks off first.
The bushings remain on the fork tubes when you pull the sliders off.
There is an upper set, and lower set.
I think these are in the neighborhood of $15 a set.
You should, although you don't have to...change the copper washers on the screws.

Some chromers, like Chromemasters, will polish the "bosses" off for you, which includes the lettering molded in.

Can find some deals on Ebay but be careful who you deal with check their rating and possibly ask another who have may bought before what you are buying ....(100% Rated Power Seller on Ebay here)

Also, something to look for is a company the uses Hexavalient chromium (sp) That gives the chrome a bluish tint rather than the cheaper zinc type which gives it a yellowish tint....

Went with the HD ones also. Changed out the bushings while apart as well. Finish perfect.
