I have the Brawler seat on my 2008 RK as well and really like it!

As far as moving the seat closer to the tank console, you can do it to some degree. The bracket that attached the seat onto the mounting plate has two allen head screws. If you loosen those two a bit you can move the bracket and, accordingly, move the seat closer to the tank console. That's what i had to do to eliminate the gap.

Hope this helps.

I also swap out my Brawler with the stock seat when my daughter wants to go for a ride and I don't have to remove the Brawler bracket at all. It may depend on the seat you are swapping to, but there is enough room inside the stock two up seat to allow the Brawler bracket to fit without it poking through.

Hope this helps.

Elvis, if your use to riding the pan in your sig (with a herniated disc?), you don't even need a seat on the road king

I have the Sidekick (customized) seat which is the Brawler in the 2up form. I love the seat. Great pic of your King. Beautiful!

FYI regarding pillion pad for use with brawler seat. if you have the 2or 4pt docking kit installed already you can use the rack for the solo tour pak to mount a pillion pad on that you can take on and off. Just wish the MOCO would design a backrest that already had a passenger seat attached to it that I could take it on and off the same way. Or a backrest that could be used with the solo seat with a luggage rack for my TBAG.. Anyone else looking for something like this???

Does braking make you slide forward at all with this seat? I had bought a Sundowner solo and had this problem. I'm 6'2", so brawler should be a good fit, but the nose portion of the Sundowner had no padding so I always slid forward.
