Cool dyno run done and home again

I just got our bike back from the 1000 mile service and the dyno tune. I installed the Rhinehart slip on mufflers and a Ventilator A/c. They used the SE Super pro tuner and it ended up with 70 hp and 79 tq. Not very high but it runs really smooth and the idle is like a B engine. The Air Fuel Ratio was set at 13.8-1 across the range. It has 65 lbs of tq right off idle and it makes getting the big bike moving very easy now so i guess the big numbers don't mean as much as how it rides.

When mine came back from dyno the numbers were low also 65hp, 77lbs tq. with 13.6 AFR across the range. I only got a short ride on it since the tune, but it ran very smooth and had good response. For that I am happy for now. Til I decide on whether I'm gonna put cams in. :}

Did you guys do the Stage1 after the 1000 mi service? I ended up do my stage1 when I purchased my bike. I asked the sales guy after they delivered it, where was my dyno sheet? He told me that they didnt run it hard being that it was a new engine. He said when I come back for the 1000mi service they would do the dyno with the numbers. Does this sound right? Anyone?

I heard someone say that the dealers won't dyno tune a bike until after the 1000 mile service, because that they don't want to hurt the engine running it hard before it's fully broken in.
I didn't do anything to mine until after my 5000 mile service.

As long as your happy that's all that matters. I'm not planning on doing my stage 1 till the 1000 mile service. I want to ride the bike and break it in. Then do the stage 1 so I can see if I feel the difference. Might help me prolong trying to do more to the engine.
